Center of Entrepreneurial Development (COED)

The redevelopment of 1890 E. Main Street is transforming an underutilized property into a vibrant hub for BIPOC entrepreneurs, creators, and community leaders in Columbus, Ohio. Designed as a space for innovation and collaboration, the project combines modern coworking environments, flexible event venues, and thoughtfully curated public areas, all while celebrating the building’s historic character with a bold industrial-modern aesthetic.

With every space now fully leased, the building will soon come alive with the energy of small businesses, startups, and cultural organizations led by and serving diverse communities. Interiors feature open work areas, private offices, and versatile gathering spaces, while outdoor patios, murals, and public art reinforce its role as a cultural anchor. Beyond workspace, the development will provide programming, events, and partnerships that elevate BIPOC voices and strengthen local networks.

Positioned as a premier destination for entrepreneurship and community engagement, 1890 E. Main is more than a workplace—it is a long-term investment in equity, creativity, and inclusive economic growth.
